Pillar 01

Agent Governance

Making agentic systems accountable, not just capable.

Most enterprises deploying agents will tell you governance is handled. Ask a sharper question — if a deployed agent made a consequential wrong decision today, who would know, how fast, and what would they do? — and the gap shows. This pillar maps that gap two ways: a five-level maturity model, from governance-on-paper to governance that evolves alongside the models, and the measurement problem underneath it — when everyone rates their readiness a 7 but means something different by it, no one is actually comparing anything. What the assessment framework provides is a shared measuring stick — the same one the Governance Scorer on this site lets you run in a few minutes.
